    Thought For the Moment
Someone has to set a bad example

Ever had a day where you’ve yelled at the kids, had cereal for dinner or a wine before 5pm?

Returned to work when the kids were still babies?

    Put them in childcare?

Sworn in front of them? Or at them?

    Fantasised about your pre-kids life?

Used controlled crying? Or co-slept just so you could get some?

Found your runners in the freezer, wondered what the hell you were doing being a Mum and why the vodka bottle is empty? Again!

Ever felt like a Bad Mother? For all of this and more?

Welcome to Australia’s only Safe Haven for mums, where you can rant, rave and rebel, openly and honestly and amongst friends, and where you’ll find parenting advice, parenting tips, and a guide to parenting you just won’t find anywhere else.

Not only that, you’ll receive a heap of support, empathy and understanding for those times you do school pick up in your jarmies or lose the plot and have a tantrum after you’ve had 3 hours (broken) sleep for two years running, or have just asked the 7 year old to put his shoes on. For the 976th million time this morning.

You’re normal, you’re among friends and you’re very, very REAL!

We don’t think you’re bad, we think you’re dealing with REALITY the best way you can.

So, if you’re after acceptance in your wine drinking, in-pyjamas-at-1.32pm glory, you got it. Don’t expect any sympathy when you tell us your toddler is eating the cat food (again) and your attempts to leave the house without mashed pumpkin somewhere on your body are thwarted. But thanks for the laugh!

If you’re after advice and information that occurs in the delusional, la la fantasy land where babies look peaceful, toddlers listen when you put them in the ‘naughty corner’ and the school aged kids are capable of whipping up 3 course meals, then you’re in the wrong spot.

Welcome to Bad Mother's Club is where real mums hang out!

It's amazing how much of a sponge kids are, usually about things that will end up being used against us or to our detriment :twitcy: Go to last post
